Health and Human Services for Older Adults (Age 65 and over)

Two senior women

The Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) provides Rhode Island’s older adults with safe and secure options for getting the care they need while living in their own homes and communities. If you are an older adult -- or a family member, friend or caregiver -- you should know about the various services EOHHS agencies offer to people age 65 and over that help them meet their needs, maintain their independence and improve the quality of their lives.  And, if the time comes, we will assist you with issues involving long-term care in the home, a shared or assisted living arrangement, or a nursing home.
