If you are an older adult -- or a family member, friend or caregiver -- you should know about the various services EOHHS agencies offer to people age 65 and over that help them meet their needs, maintain their independence and improve the quality of their lives. And, if the time comes, we will assist you with issues involving long-term care in the home, a shared or assisted living arrangement, or a nursing home. PACE provides LTSS to program participants so they can remain in their own homes or other community settings, and coordinates and manages their services if they need care in a health facility like a hospital or nursing home.
