Early Intervention Provider and Child

Early Intervention is a family visiting program that supports children with developmental delays or known disabilities, birth through age three. The work in Early Intervention focuses on supporting parents and caregivers in the process of embedding ideas and strategies to support their child's development into their everyday activities and routines.

Early Intervention professionals tell us:

"As early intervention providers, we are often the family’s first resource in supporting their child’s development and navigating the world of special education and support services. Our role is so important to the children and families that we serve, and it is evident in our everyday practice."

"The joy of being able to laugh and play alongside our clients while supporting them in meeting these important milestones is the greatest part of our work."

"Early Intervention plays a valuable role in not only the lives of our clients, but our own lives and careers as providers."

"I really love the connections we make with the families."

"The amount of appreciation these parents gives us leaves me with a feeling like no other and reminds me every time why I love this job so much."
