RIte Share Program DescriptionRIte Share is Rhode Island's Premium Assistance Program that can help you pay for an employer's health insurance plan. The State will pay all or part of the cost for employee health insurance coverage. Eligibility for RIte Share is based on income and family size: Parents with children under age 18 with income up to 136 percent of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) Adults without children with income up to 133 percent of the FPL Pregnant women with income up to 253 percent of the FPL Children up to age 19 with income up to 261 percent of the FPL CostThere is cost sharing for families whose income is greater than 150 percent of the FPLHow to Apply Families with children can apply for health coverage online, by phone, by mail or in person. Assistance with applying is also available. To apply online, create an account or login. If you need help, please call the DHS Call Center at 1-855-697-4347. To apply in person, go to a Department of Human Services (DHS) Office or HealthSource RI. You can also print a DHS-2 Application, fill it out and mail it to us.
